Bookkeeper

Wendy stepped into the role of Westcave’s bookkeeper in 2023, bringing with her a unique journey that started in law but found its true calling in accounting. Growing up in the Netherlands and having traveled all around the globe, Wendy developed a deep appreciation for nature’s wonders and the transformative power of the outdoors.

With a law degree from Leiden Law School in the Netherlands (2010) and a master’s in law from the University of Texas School of Law (2012), Wendy is currently on a path to enhance her skill set with a Professional Accountant Advanced Certificate. Her dual expertise as a licensed attorney and aspiring accountant positions her to offer Westcave exceptional back-office support, seamlessly blending legal acumen with financial proficiency.

Outside of work and study, Wendy and her husband, Mark, enjoy watching the latest movies, whether at home or at Alamo Drafthouse, playing board games, and spending time with their redbone coonhound, Ginger. She also loves to travel, and frequently jets back to the Netherlands to visit friends and family. Her travel wishlist includes island hopping through the Greek isles, experiencing dog sledding in Lapland, and making a road trip through the American Northeast during Indian Summer.
