Rachel Whittaker
Administrative Coordinator
Rachel's love for the outdoors started as a child in England, where she took hikes with her grandfather across stonewalled sheep fields. She then moved to Canada and spent hours catching tadpoles and crayfish in the trillium-filled forest behind her home. As an adult, she has been an avid outdoors person and backpacked multiple stretches of wilderness areas in the High Sierra Mountain Range. Rachel fell in love with Westcave during a tour of the Grotto, where it's one of her favorite Hill Country places to take in nature. Professionally, Rachel’s background includes working in administration, revenue development, and project leadership in organizations such as The Learning Experience, Kisco Senior Living, and the Ducks Professional Hockey Team. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Biola University in La Mirada, Ca. As well as having a love of nature and being a hockey fan, Rachel enjoys her time in Austin, regularly exploring new restaurants and periodic travel. She lives in Dripping Springs with her husband of thirty-one years and has a son, daughter, and one grandchild with another on the way
