Michelle Earley: Secretary
Michelle grew up in Austin, Texas when the city was much smaller and the opportunities to get out in nature were easy and abundant. She spent her childhood weekends on Lake Travis and at Zilker and Emma Long Parks. Michelle was also fortunate to spend her childhood summers at a cottage and at a naturalist/conservation focused camp in central Ontario, Canada.
From those experiences, she developed a love for the outdoors. She received her bachelor of arts in Political Science from Texas A&M and her law degree from Yale Law School. After law school, Michelle clerked for the Honorable Thomas Reavley on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and then joined an international law firm in Houston, Texas. Michelle and her family returned to Austin in 2004 where she continues her practice in the Capital Markets (Public Company Advisory) group at O'Melveny & Myers LLP. Michelle is active in the Austin community serving on many non-profit boards. Her love of the outdoors and being married to an educator whose love for nature (and outdoor education) knows no bounds led her to Westcave. Michelle enjoys reading, good serial television shows, sports, and spending time together with her husband, Bill, and their three children.
