Megan Bonnett is a native Texan outdoor educator and lover of flora and fauna. Megan has worn the hat of an organic gardener in Austin, taught children and adults of all ages about the wonders of the outdoors as a naturalist for the Lower Colorado River Authority, hosted plant walks for the Wildflower School of Botanical Medicine, and was on the team of river-loving nature enthusiasts who organized the home-grown Texas Wild Rice Festival in San Marcos, TX educating the surrounding area about the incredible resource that is the San Marcos River. Currently, Megan serves as outreach and education coordinator for the Earth Repair Corps- a non-profit permaculture organization based in Austin, TX. She also works as an animal care and behavior specialist. It is one of her lifelong goals to bring fellow humans back to nature and to inspire others to do the same!
