BOARD FELLOW

Jon is a 1st year MBA student at the University of Texas Austin. Prior to going back to school for his MBA, he spent over six years as a strategy and analytics consultant working for Booz Allen Hamilton and Visa, Inc. Outside of work, Jon has been actively involved in supporting nonprofits in the education and entrepreneurship space. Jon has been a mentor, volunteer, and board member with the Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) organization (a minority leadership development program), City Year Silicon Valley (an education-based non-profit), and the Washington D.C. Social Innovation Project (a non-profit consultancy for local start-ups). At McCombs, Jon is exploring a new business idea to help reduce childhood obesity in the U.S. by fostering healthier diets for children though data analytics. Jon is excited to join the Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center board, and is looking to leveraging his experience with data analytics within the Westcave education and conservation programs. Jon enjoys playing tennis and basketball, and is trying to re-learn how to play the guitar!
