Daniella Rempe

Daniella Rempe is a hydrologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Earth and Planetary Science at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research group focuses on understanding the processes operating belowground that control the quantity and quality of water resources. Her expertise is in the fractured bedrock root zone, characteristic of much of central Texas, and dictates water supply to plants and groundwater aquifers. She is also a native Texan, alumna of the University of Texas, and feels fortunate to have strong roots in the Austin area.
