Having grown up with the Barton Creek Greenbelt in her backyard, Julia is a lifelong nature lover and adventurer whose personal life mission is to revive the connection between man and the natural world. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Hydrogeology & Environmental Geology from the University of Texas at Austin. Her professional background includes work in the solar industry, outdoor education, and as a geoscientist for the State of Texas. She enjoys taking her son and other families out into the wonderment of nature and leads a Families in Nature club where she is known as Ranger Feathers. On the side, she honors natural beauty through special event coordination services for outdoor events.
